You should not live life as a drama, but instead as your destiny

“You should not live life as a drama, but instead as your destiny.”
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in all the “stuff” going on in our lives, that our life seems to be a big drama. The “stuff” starts to become the center focus in us, and we start to loose sight of the real destiny God created for us.
Remember, you are not created to be a drama queen (queen of drama), but instead you are expected to be a queen or king of the “territory” in your life…the areas the devil has tried to steal from you…you are to “rule” them with the royalty of God’s Kingdom.
Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit give you the authority and power to be over-comers, to take out the drama and replace it with destiny:)
You are son’s and daughters of God, and Jesus is the King of King’s, and the Lord of Lord’s. Don’t let the devil con you out of your rulership!
Destiny…it’s yours…take it!
Hope to see you at Windword:)

Life…what is it?
October 20th, 2011 Share your thoughts »
Life…what is it?
If I try to answer this question fully, it would take my lifetime to try. And then in Heaven I would probably find out that my destiny during life was to not figure it out…but instead put my trust NOT on my own understanding, but put my trust in God!
Heaven will definitely open our eyes…so… is heaven at hand? Can you see?
Here is my quote for the week:
“Your life is but a moment in eternity, but yet God created eternity for what you do in life.”
What if God didn’t create your life to change eternity, but instead created eternity to justify your life?
Imagine if eternity was created for what you do here on earth? That your life is but a fleeting moment… and how you spend eternity is directly connected to how you do life now!
Think of it, your choices in life will write your eternity. Hmmm…kinda humbling!
I bet if we truly understand this point, we might all “look” different in what we do and say today.
Be encouraged, we serve a God that absolutely LOVES you:) And you are destined to be over-comers and live in victory… for LIFE!
Hope to see you at Windword this week! Many Blessings, Brent Borthwick

Walls are coming down
October 9th, 2011 Share your thoughts »
As I’m flying over Northern California enroute to San Franciso then on the Mexico City, I was thinking about a scripture that was given to me for this trip…Joshua 6. I feel that walls are coming down.
When we are obedient to the exact instructions from the Lord, we are assured of victory.
Now many of the Israelites would have been tired, maybe even sick or in physical pain from walking, waring… But they still listened to the true appointed man of God, Joshua, who heard the voice of the Lord.
No matter how the Israelites felt, sore, tired, sick, they marched exactly as the Lord said, and the walls came crashing down.
So my thought for today is this:
“Do you really have pain, or is it the teaching of response?”
Does the physical world dominate the supernatural? No, it’s the supernatural that dominates the physical!!
When we are so in love with Jesus and being obedient to serve Him, our physical state should never dominate our supernatural destiny…healing…love.
I would implore you today to live in the knowing that God’s love for you is so much that He never wants a few aches and pains (walls) to “take you out” of His love and will. And while you or I experience some “pains” in life, look at them as a way of God teaching us how to respond…to know that we need Him…His healing power in our lives, and to be obedient to His instructions. Maybe if we never had a need, we might question if we need Him?
He created you and I to need Him and love Him. Let’s not let “pain” destroy our ears to hear, or eyes to see…our healing, our victory.
Walk as though you are healed…because you are…in victory! And as you walk in victory, keep contending for you needs! When the walls come down, the plunder of the gold and silver is ready!
Please pray as we minister in Mexico City this weekend…the walls are coming down!!
Much love, Brent Borthwick

God Never Fails You, Only You Failing God……
October 3rd, 2011 Share your thoughts »
God never fails you, only you failing God…but then is it really your failure, or is it God teaching you?
As I was pondering this thought today, I felt to write it to you. We must not focus on past wrongs; how we might have failed, but instead look to what can be learned from the experience of the past. We have the option to turn it to positive testimony by learning through everything.
So be encouraged today!! God never fails you…and He sure does love you:)
Hope to see you at Windword this Sunday 10:00 amĀ www.windword.ca

God is always good
September 6th, 2011 Share your thoughts »
I want to encourage some of you today.
Whatever your struggle is, God loves you. He will never leave you or forsake you. The enemy wants us (or someone) to beat ourselves up over some things that we might have done wrong in life…to continue remembering the “wrongs” instead of walking in forgiveness.
But nowhere do I find that a Biblical understanding. The scripture continually talks of God’s unmerited forgiveness for us. Through His Son Jesus Christ, by the blood that was shed on the cross, by His resurrection 3 days later. He gave us unmerited forgiveness…for ever!
We need to truly walk in forgiveness. Sometimes for us to understand that, we must forgive others that have wronged us. Not by accepting what they did or said, but by forgiving them and not holding on to the pain.
God has forgiven us; now let’s walk through life in forgiveness for our own wrongs and for the wrongs of others…Grace:)
I leave you with this thought: “God is always good, even when your not.”
Our struggles should never be with who we think God is. Our struggles usually come by someone not being obedient to His Word…and not living in His love.
Let’s love one another…as Christ loves His church.
