We fight for victory!!!

I was contemplating a thought this morning, and I feel an answer came to me.
“Remember, we fight from victory…”
We need to remember that through Jesus Christ’s resurrection, He gave us victory over every negative attack or sin.
We are not fighting for Victory… it has already been won for us. Instead you must look at life, everything you are going through, and realize that since we are fighting from victory, then we will carry and release victory into every situation we are in… The “situation” is crying out for the victory, that’s why it is a situation. It’s crying for the victory you carry through Jesus name in your life.

Silence can speak louder than words…
April 25th, 2012 Share your thoughts »
Here is a thought that I was pondering as I head off to Stacey Campbell’s prophetic round table for the young reformers:
“Many things you think (hear) are never to be spoken”
At first I was thinking about it prophetically, which for any prophetic people out there…this should become a statement to implement in your life:)
So much of what you “hear” is for a purpose that might never be spoken about. “Hearing” is not a promotional status symbol, but instead a humbling understanding that God is speaking to you… someone… for a purpose that might not be for your receipt of acknowledgment. That many things you hear are to give you understanding of how to pray and love people… not to condemn them to justify your gift.
As I seem to be getting a little older year after year, I am realizing that this thought should become a silent statement that I need to live by, not just prophetically… but everyday of my life should model this. We need to not get wrapped up in meaningless conversations that do not bring God the Glory, but instead live in our God given identity and use our tongue to praise Him and encourage and exhort each other… to love.
“Knowing something about someone else is quite often a test to see how quiet you keep it… so you can show them Jesus in you” shhhh, until it’s the timing of God
Much Love, Brent

Sometimes words will never explain you! So quit trying.

“Sometimes words will never explain you! So quit trying.” – Brent Borthwick
How much time do people take just trying to explain themselves to others? When we don’t always feel accepted, we spend so much time stressing about what people think of us, or what we think they might think…
When the one person we truly need to “impress” is God!
Maybe some people don’t like the word “impress” God, then how about make Him “proud”?
OK…before we all get worked up on theological premises, let me reword it again.
If God is our Father, then we are His “son’s” (children). How much He must love us, and wants to see us prosper in His call for our lives, then how much a son wants his father to be proud of him…to trust him, believe that he can do what his father desires of him.
When my son Justin is playing baseball and he knows I’am watching…how much he wants to “impress” me, or make me proud of him:)
But you see, the love I have for my son and daughters, I’am impressed and proud of them before anyone else is… even when they were in Sharon’s womb, I’d pray with them, love on them, kiss them, and promise things to them. They love me, but I first loved them, and nothing can ever change that.
Father is proud of you!! Don’t let other peoples opinions, statements, or self hurts destroy you from playing ball with your Dad:)
Batter up…it’s time to hit a home run for Him:) He IS proud of you…live in His love:)
Blessings, Brent

You should not live life as a drama, but instead as your destiny
November 18th, 2011 Share your thoughts »
“You should not live life as a drama, but instead as your destiny.”
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in all the “stuff” going on in our lives, that our life seems to be a big drama. The “stuff” starts to become the center focus in us, and we start to loose sight of the real destiny God created for us.
Remember, you are not created to be a drama queen (queen of drama), but instead you are expected to be a queen or king of the “territory” in your life…the areas the devil has tried to steal from you…you are to “rule” them with the royalty of God’s Kingdom.
Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit give you the authority and power to be over-comers, to take out the drama and replace it with destiny:)
You are son’s and daughters of God, and Jesus is the King of King’s, and the Lord of Lord’s. Don’t let the devil con you out of your rulership!
Destiny…it’s yours…take it!
Hope to see you at Windword:)

Life…what is it?
October 20th, 2011 Share your thoughts »
Life…what is it?
If I try to answer this question fully, it would take my lifetime to try. And then in Heaven I would probably find out that my destiny during life was to not figure it out…but instead put my trust NOT on my own understanding, but put my trust in God!
Heaven will definitely open our eyes…so… is heaven at hand? Can you see?
Here is my quote for the week:
“Your life is but a moment in eternity, but yet God created eternity for what you do in life.”
What if God didn’t create your life to change eternity, but instead created eternity to justify your life?
Imagine if eternity was created for what you do here on earth? That your life is but a fleeting moment… and how you spend eternity is directly connected to how you do life now!
Think of it, your choices in life will write your eternity. Hmmm…kinda humbling!
I bet if we truly understand this point, we might all “look” different in what we do and say today.
Be encouraged, we serve a God that absolutely LOVES you:) And you are destined to be over-comers and live in victory… for LIFE!
Hope to see you at Windword this week! Many Blessings, Brent Borthwick
